As part of an extensive redevelopment of their property the clients used the opportunity to commission a new master ensuite bathroom design.

The clients’ brief was to create a warm and luxurious bathroom that felt both elegant and contemporary.

The clients expressed a desire for bespoke storage space that would be integral to the overall design and not compromise the clean and contemporary feel of the room. After various designs and samples were submitted to the client, colour backed glass was chosen for its vibrancy and durability.

Each piece was made to measure, cut and polished off site prior to being installed. Walnut veneered, custom-made storage cupboards were designed and built to fit alongside one side of the room.  This provided extensive storage space below ‘his and hers’ basins.

Design features that were implemented after consultation with the clients included recesses for displaying decorative items and a ‘slow close’ toilet seat. Fittings were sourced that enabled a dual flush system to vary water usage and allow maintenance access to the cistern without compromising the design of the fitted furniture.
